N+A = Joonas Vähämäki & Niko Virta

Joonas has been making music since 1989, first with Amiga and later with PC.
He has released music through wellknown netlabel Monotonik and its breakbeat sublabel Mono211, under Com.Pact Records and Nine2Five Recordings, done music for Tank Racer (Playstation/PC game) as well as composed several drum'n'bass influenced tracks for local cable tv-channel just to name some of his many composings. Joonas is also half of the Finnish drum'n'bass live act Samuel & Nasley.

Niko has been making music since 1994, first with Amiga, later with PC and hardware (synths, drummachines). He has released music as Gameboy together with famous Finnish electro act Imatran Voima under labels like Tellektro and Bunker Records.

In August 2004, while being under influence of alcohol in Tampere suburbs we got this idea to make old school hardcore. We made our first track Oldskool Reunion during that weekend, luvly roller with stomping pianos. But I guess it was sauna and gallons of Tanqueray that have kept us making new beats in bedroom studio. Don't know if it has paid off but atleast we've had good time :)
